FDP ON ICT TOOLS FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING PEDAGOGY ON 25/08/2025 ORGANISED BY WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CELL BY DR. MANASA N FROM CHRIST COLLEGE, BENGALURU.

  • Day 1 (20/09/2025): Dry Waste and Wet Waste Segregation Awareness Program An awareness session was organized in the apartments of Yelahanka New Town to educate residents about the importance of segregating household waste at the source. Residents were encouraged to adopt sustainable waste disposal practices and contribute towards a cleaner environment

  • Day 2 (24/09/2025): Campus Cleanliness Drive A cleanliness drive was undertaken in and around the campus. Students, staff, and volunteers actively participated in cleaning the premises, removing litter, and spreading the message of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces.

  • Day 3 (25/09/2025): Collage Making, Poster Making, and Essay Writing Competitions Creative competitions were conducted to involve students in spreading the message of Swachhata through art and writing. Participants showcased their innovative ideas on themes related to cleanliness, waste management, and a sustainable future.

    Kannada Rajyotsava
    Kannada Rajyotsava (also known as Karnataka Formation Day) is celebrated every year on 1 November to mark the unification of Kannada-speaking regions into a single state in 1956. The celebration of Kannada Rajyotsava on 1 November 2025 at SB College of Management Studies stands as a vibrant testimony to the college’s commitment to cultural identity and community spirit. The event not only commemorated the historical significance of the day but also engaged students meaningfully in Karnataka’s heritage. It reinforced the value of the Kannada language, encouraged inclusiveness, and fostered pride among the young minds.
    IGNITE 2025

    On September 19, 2025, SB College of Management Studies celebrated its grand management fest, “Ignite 2025.” The event provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase their managerial skills, creativity, and leadership qualities. Various competitions such as business quiz, best manager, product launch, and marketing mania were organized, encouraging participants to think innovatively and work collaboratively.

    The fest witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different departments, making it a vibrant and competitive event. Faculty members guided and supported the participants throughout, ensuring smooth coordination. Ignite 2025 truly lived up to its name by igniting the spirit of management and entrepreneurship among the students, making it a memorable and successful celebration.
    GRADUATION DAY 2025

    The Graduation Day 2025 of SB College of Management Studies was celebrated with great pride and joy on July 14, 2025, at Shoolin Resort, Dodda Alada Mara Road, Thavarekere, Bengaluru – 562130. The event marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students, symbolizing their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments.

    The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by an invocation song that set a solemn and inspiring tone for the day. The Principal, Dr. B. Parvathi Devi, delivered the welcome address and congratulated the graduates on their achievements. The chief guest of the event inspired the students with words of wisdom, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with integrity and determination.

    Graduating students were felicitated with certificates, medals, and mementoes as a token of appreciation for their efforts. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, pride, and nostalgia as students expressed their gratitude to the management and faculty for their constant support.

    FAREWELL 2025

    The Farewell Ceremony 2025 for the outgoing batch of SB College of Management Studies was held on July 14, 2025, at Shoolin Resort, Dodda Alada Mara Road, Thavarekere, Bengaluru – 562130, alongside the Graduation Day celebration. The event was organized to bid a warm and emotional adieu to the graduating students and to celebrate their journey filled with achievements, memories, and friendships.

    The management and faculty members shared words of encouragement, appreciating the students for their accomplishments and contribution to the institution. The outgoing students, in turn, expressed their gratitude towards the college, teachers, and friends for their constant support and guidance throughout their academic journey.

    The event concluded with a group photo session and a grand dinner, marking a perfect end to the celebration. The Farewell 2025 was truly a memorable evening filled with emotions, joy, and nostalgia, as students looked forward to stepping into a new phase of their lives with confidence and pride.

    BOLLYWOOD NIGHTS-2025

    On September 12, 2025, SB College of Management Studies organized a spectacular event titled “Bollywood Night 2025.” The evening was filled with glamour, music, and entertainment, bringing the vibrant spirit of Bollywood to life on campus.

    Students came dressed as their favorite Bollywood celebrities, adding color and excitement to the celebration. The event featured a variety of performances, including dance numbers, skits, and musical acts inspired by popular Bollywood themes. The atmosphere was electric with energy, laughter, and applause as participants showcased their talents with great enthusiasm.

    The faculty and management appreciated the students for their creativity and active participation in making the event a grand success. Refreshments and a DJ session at the end added to the festive mood, making it a night to remember.

    Bollywood Night 2025 truly captured the essence of fun and entertainment, providing students with a refreshing break from academics and an opportunity to celebrate togetherness in true Bollywood style.
    9TH STATE LEVEL SEMINAR ON "TRANSFORMATION FOR THE NATION-INDIA'S DEVELOPMENT THROUGH INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION"

    On August 14, 2025, the MBA and BBA students of SB College of Management Studies attended the 9th State Level Seminar on the theme “Transformation for the Nation – India’s Development through Individual Contribution.” The event was organized by Vishwamanava Yuva Vedike and Queen’s Global Management Solutions.

    The seminar focused on the importance of individual responsibility in contributing to the nation’s growth and progress. Eminent speakers from various sectors shared insightful perspectives on leadership, innovation, and ethical practices as key drivers of national transformation.

    The session was highly engaging and interactive, motivating students to recognize their potential role in shaping a better future for the country. It also provided an excellent platform for learning, discussion, and networking.

    SEBI (SMART'S INVESTOR AWARENESS PROGRAM)
    On November 3, 2025, an Investor Awareness Program titled SMARTS’s Investor Awareness Program was organized by SEBI from BSE for the BBA students of SB College of Management Studies. The session aimed to educate students about the fundamentals of investing, financial planning, and ways to avoid market risks. It was an informative and insightful program that enhanced the students’ understanding of smart investment practices and financial literacy.
    AWARENESS SESSION ON ROAD SAFETY AND CPR

    On October 23, 2025, SB College of Management Studies organized an Awareness Program on Road Safety and CPR for the UG final-year students. The session was conducted by Mr. Roshan from CIIA Young India Chair, along with Mr. Prateek, Mr. Mahanteesh, and Mr. Narahari from Aster CMI Hospitals.

    The program aimed to create awareness about the importance of following road safety measures and providing first aid during emergencies. The resource persons demonstrated Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques and explained how timely intervention can save lives. They also discussed the causes of road accidents and preventive measures that every individual should adopt to ensure safety.

    The session was highly interactive and informative, equipping students with practical knowledge and life-saving skills. Overall, it was a valuable initiative that emphasized responsibility, awareness, and the importance of being prepared to act during emergencies.
    ONAM-2025

    On August 28, 2025, SB College of Management Studies celebrated Onam 2025 with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit at the Rail Wheel Factory Hall, Yelahanka. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff to honor the vibrant traditions of Kerala’s harvest festival.

    The celebration began with the traditional Pookalam (floral rangoli), followed by cultural performances including Thiruvathira dance, songs, and skits that showcased the essence of Onam. Students came dressed in traditional Kerala attire, adding color and charm to the occasion.

    Fun-filled games and activities were organized, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. The highlight of the event was the Onam Sadhya, a traditional feast that everyone enjoyed.

    Overall, Onam 2025 was a delightful and memorable celebration that reflected unity, culture, and happiness among the SB College of Management Studies family.
    INDEPENDENCE DAY

    On August 15, 2025, SB College of Management Studies celebrated Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, filling the campus with pride and unity.

    Students presented patriotic songs, speeches, and cultural performances that highlighted the significance of India’s freedom and the sacrifices made by national leaders. The faculty and management addressed the gathering, encouraging students to uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, and nation-building.

    SUSTAINATECH-2025 (NATIONAL LEVEL SEMINAR)

    On September 18, 2025, SB College of Management Studies organized a National Level Students Seminar titled “SUSTAINATECH 2025.” The seminar aimed to create awareness about sustainable technologies and their role in shaping a better and greener future.

    Students from various institutions across the country participated and presented papers on topics related to sustainability, innovation, and technology-driven development. The event provided a platform for young minds to exchange ideas and explore solutions for global environmental challenges.

    Eminent speakers and academicians shared valuable insights, motivating students to adopt sustainable practices in their academic and professional pursuits.

    GUEST LECTURE ON "HOW TO PLAN FOR STARTUP AND LEGAL AND ETHICAL STEPS"

    On August 26, 2025, SB College of Management Studies organized an insightful guest lecture on the topic “How to Plan for Startup and Legal and Ethical Steps.” The session aimed to educate students about the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and the essential legal and ethical aspects involved in starting a business.

    The resource person explained various stages of establishing a startup, including idea generation, business planning, funding, registration, and compliance requirements. The importance of maintaining ethical practices and adhering to legal frameworks was also emphasized.
