Overview
B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology or B.Sc MLT course is an undergraduate Medical Lab Technology program. Medical Laboratory Technology program can also be named as Clinical laboratory science. It is an allied health profession that is concerned with the treatment, diagnosis, and prevention of disease through the use of clinical laboratory tests.
It is a 3-year freshman course that is divided into 3 annual exams i.e. 1 exam each year. To get eligible for this course, one should secure a minimum score in 10+2 with science stream (PCMB) from a recognized board. The pass percentage may vary from institute to institute. The admission to this course is offered by considering the 10+2 merit and entrance exam scores (if any).
Different sorts of testing procedures that are instructed to students during the training time frame will assist them with conducting tests successfully. It additionally helps with distinguishing different sicknesses that are making a patient fall debilitated.
Duration of the course:
- Duration shall be for a period of four years including one year of Internship.
